Ever wonder what’s in someone else’s fridge?

I found a blog a while ago showing photos of what was in the fridges of North Americans. I thought it was pretty cool and relieved it wasn’t picture perfect like they like to do on the cooking shows. I thought I’d show a few shots of my fridge and cupboard. The only organized looking cupboard also happens to be the one I use least…(the non-food one). Here’s the link to that site: http://www.good.is/post/picture-show-you-are-what-you-eat/

Here are the cupboards in their ‘natural state’ for good measure.

Vern also insisted on showing his drawer. That treat junkie.

And some food photos for good measure. I’m really glad fall is here because stews and roasted vegetables are my favourite. Roasted cauliflower tastes completely different than plain steamed. It has this meaty flavour just like that of the restaurant Nuba’s “Najib’s special” cauliflower. Try roasting cauliflower at 450F for 25 minutes tossed in some oil and salt. Unbelievable – even Ryan asks me if I’ve added anything to it.

  1. I can’t believe how many packages of unopened Beggin Strips Vern has stashed in his treat drawer! When he stayed for 5 days at Grand Pup Ma & Pup Pa’s place he convinced me that his "mom" never buys him treats! Wow! Has he ever got me wrapped around his paw…back to Kibbles n Bits for you Grand Pup Son.
