I’ve been spending a lot of time outside this past month because of a course I’ve ben taking at SFU. I’ve created a website to document what we’re doing over there: http://wildingvancouver.com/ which is taking up a good chunk of my time. I can’t say I’m not enjoying it though. I’ve met people and experienced spaces in Vancouver I never knew existed. Here are some photos of an area by the Port of Vancouver called Crab Park. Darien, my nephew, thoughtfully asked if there were any crabs down by the water. It didn’t really occur to me to look so we did. Lo and behold we found some, well not some, lots! We even found a really big one. Vern inspected it thoroughly!
We also hung out at Olympic Village and found a festival going on. It was a nice sunny Sunday.
Vern was pretty hot in his fur so cooled off at George Wainborn Park in Yaletown. He’s been cooling off in the fountains since he was a pup all by himself. It amuses everyone passing by and never fails to put a smile on peoples faces.
