I think we anticipated so much stress in puitting floors in that it just became un-stressful. We managed to move all the furniture in 1 day, rip out the carpet and clean up in 1 day and get the floors installed in 2. Floors look great, except now the new floors and baseboard outshine the paint on the walls which means we need to get the walls painted. It’s like the emperor and his robe! While the flooring was being put in, we stayed at the Loden botique hotel in Coal Harbour, conveniently next to my work. I woke up 20 minutes before work and got in on time which was pretty awesome.
