After a month at Regal Beach Condos we moved out to our next location for the remainder of our stay: The Residences at the Ritz-Carlton! It’s quite the upgrade! We went from 1000 sqft to 2500 sqft. And there are two top of the line ovens, 2!!! I really don’t want to go home now. I took some photos of the place however Ryan dropped our camera with his slippery fingers which I wasn’t too upset about since I’ve been bugging him since Christmas for a better camera. Must be a sign. Will have to take photos once we get a new one. For now his iPhone will have to do.
Now it took the dog about 2 weeks to get used to being left at home at Regal Beach and I think it’s a little quicker now at the newer place. You could hear him crying down the hall when we left him the first week we came here. Ryan caught him sleeping at the door on top of our shoes the other night. He waits anxiously right by the door when we’re out…poor guy.
I also decided to make peanut butter cups inspired from a blog I saw. Super easy guys: Get a bar of chocolate and peanut butter and a silicone muffin tin (you can use a regular muffin tin lined with muffin liner for that Reese’s peanut butter cup effect). Melt the chocolate in the microwave, put a teaspoon in each muffin tin, add a teaspoon of peanut butter and then another dollop of chocolate. Stick in the fridge till firm. Comes out really easily from the silicone liner.
The dog is enjoying having carpet again too. He loves scratching/rubbing his face against it. They just put carpet in the bedrooms before we arrived so Ryan decided to see what all the fuss was about. Are you guys comfortable? Maybe more so after a night of drinking.
