It’s a beautiful day today. Theres a dusting of snow on the mountains, it’s a clear and sunny day and the air is crisp. After reading one too many blog posts about no knead bread I finally decided to give it a try. It takes 12 hours for it to rise so I started it last night using half whole wheat, half white and finishing the top with wheat germ. Turned out beautifully and photographs nicely. We also decorated the dog’s house complete with a miniature Christmas tree for him.

And after years of complaining about how my side of the bed was cold. Ryan finally got me an electric blanket which I love. It follows me everywhere. Vern loves it too. In fact, I’d say he loves it more than I do. He won’t even get up when I call him if the heated blanket is on and he’s in it.
